I was in search of small river rocks to use between our pavers and came across these. Based on some photos, they appeared larger and shinier than they actually were. However, I had a feeling they wouldn’t be as big as I wanted before purchasing. They served the purpose I needed them for, but I later discovered larger decorative rocks at Petsmart for a lower price.

Maintaining this product is much simpler compared to black sand. I utilized one bag for my 6-gallon rimless tank, and as I don’t have any plants rooted in the substrate, it works perfectly.

I used these rocks for a potted plant on my front porch. They are aesthetically pleasing, but I was disappointed by the smaller size of the bag considering the price. I later found a larger bag for a slightly higher price at Lowe’s. However, the rocks served their purpose effectively.
