The Monstera Adansonii, also known as the Rooted Swiss Cheese Vine, is a unique and rare indoor plant that features long vines with perforated leaves resembling Swiss cheese. It thrives in medium to bright indirect light and requires watering once a week with the soil drying approximately 2 inches down. This plant is not pet-friendly and is best kept out of reach of animals. It is ideal for beginners as it is low-maintenance and easy to care for. To encourage larger leaves, climbing is recommended as climbing plants typically produce larger leaves. The plant comes in a 4 inch pot and varies in height from 7 to 9 inches. The plant arrived in good condition, with only a minor issue of two leaves growing through holes in other leaves. Some of the leaves were slightly misshapen due to tight growth conditions, causing them to be balled up instead of open and flat. After two days, the leaves are still in the process of opening up.

I was initially unsure about ordering a plant without choosing it in person, but I was pleasantly surprised by how fantastic this plant turned out to be! It was larger than I expected, prompting me to use a bigger pot to accommodate its roots properly. I am definitely looking forward to ordering more plants in the future!
