If there is a risk of freezing temperatures they can be brought indoors to grow on a sunny window sill or under a grow light. They need bright sunlight, great drainage, and infrequent water to prevent rot. Pick containers with drainage holes and use well-draining cactus and succulent soil with 50% to 70% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite. Water deeply enough for water to run out the drainage hole, then wait for the soil to fully dry before watering again.

I have been struggling to grow these plants but this one arrived in great condition – vibrant and healthy. The instructions provided were detailed and helpful. Update: It’s been almost 2 months since I transplanted the plants from the 2-pack of string of pearls, but unfortunately, both plants have slowly died. It’s really sad because they were so healthy and looked great when they arrived. I’m not sure what went wrong. I waited a couple of weeks before transplanting them. I tried keeping one plant outside (where it’s been consistently 90 degrees) and one inside to see if the environment would make a difference, but unfortunately, I got the same…
