   We all know that sticking a finger in soil isn’t the most precise method to gauge moisture levels. I have some delicate peacock plants that can wilt if the soil dries out.    I typically wait a while before reviewing products, but I wanted to share my thoughts on this one early. So far, I’m pleased with the accuracy of the meter. It seems to have helped me save one of my fiddle leaf figs from root rot, which occurred despite following the same watering schedule as another healthy fiddle leaf.    The meter is easy to read and recommended for monitoring plant moisture levels to prevent over or under watering. However, one peculiar observation is that while the initial reading is accurate, the moisture level diminishes after about 2 seconds. It’s unclear whether this is due to the lack of a battery, reliance on soil moisture, or another factor. It’s best to rely on the initial reading for accurate results.

    I use the moisture meter for my indoor plants. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do, allowing you to measure the moisture at the bottom of the pot, not just as far as your finger can reach 😉 It’s also more reliable than testing with a wooden stick. Affordable and effective, highly recommended!
