   This product is a great all-in-one soil amendment option at a good price. It works wonders for my haworthias and cactus plants. Sometimes I mix in a bit of potting mix or chunky coco coir depending on the moisture preferences of the plants. Switching to this gritty mix helped me overcome my tendency to over-water, saving many of my succulents.    I was looking for a suitable medium to grow my Lithops (Living Rock Plants) in, and this product is perfect for that purpose. The color is subdued and reminiscent of the Southwestern style. I’m confident that my plants will be well-protected from root rot in this gritty mix. I have already made a purchase and am pleased with my decision.

   This product helps prevent soil from drying out completely by absorbing some moisture/water. The package does not provide enough coverage for multiple pots. Ideally, it should be at least 1/2″ thick. The small bag only covers 3 6-8″ pots or around 5 3-4″ pots. While it was sufficient to get me started, I will need another bag to achieve the desired thickness. Despite this, I am satisfied with this purchase so far!
