I purchased two of these products, but unfortunately one is close to being non-functional and the other one has stopped working altogether. I recently purchased a soil moisture meter and tested it on several different plant pots to gauge its accuracy in detecting moisture levels. While the meter was able to distinguish between wet and dry soil, it consistently registered moisture levels about 2 steps lower than expected. I purchased two moisture meters. One functions well, but the other is defective. It consistently displays dry readings and the dial never changes. I even tested it on recently watered plants, yet it still showed as dry. I have been using these for several years without encountering this issue before.
