   I appreciate the texture and consistency of coconut coir more than spagnum moss. After reconstituting it with water, I stored it in a trash can with a lid for convenience. I incorporated this product into my potted plants, vegetable grow pots, and grow bags to improve water retention and reduce soil compaction.    I have found success in starting seeds by using a mixture of 50% coir, 25% Roots Organic, and 25% Espoma Organic seed starting soil, combined with approximately 1/2 tablespoon of Great White mycorrhizae per 5 gallons of mix. This combination has proven to be effective for seed germination.

   This season, I have purchased coco coir from five different brands, including this one. I was truly impressed by the quantity produced from just one brick. Compared to Coco Bliss by Plantonix, this purchase stood out as one of the better ones. The coir was abundant and vibrant in color, free from any unwanted sticks or debris. Overall, a very satisfying product.

   As winter approached, I decided to bring all my plants indoors and incorporate coir into the soil to help retain moisture. I was pleasantly surprised to find that just 2 small bricks nearly filled my 5-gallon bucket. I used the coir for a variety of plants including banana, lemon, Tulsi, curry leaves, moringa, jasmine, and spinach.    I purchased this product to enhance my garden bed and potted plants by improving soil aeration for better drainage. It lives up to its description and does require some water to break down. I mixed it 50/50 and noticed a positive difference. The package contains a good amount and is free of debris.
