Perlite is a reliable choice for propagating cuttings. I wish I had purchased a larger quantity as it has proven to be beneficial in starting new plants.

I use a mix of gravel and a small amount of dirt for my cacti. However, they require additional moisture retention, and the perlite is just what they need.

I purchased this perlite to incorporate into my succulent soil mix and use as a top dressing. The bag provided ample material for mixing in multiple indoor containers. I am pleased with both the quality of the product and its price point.

The product lives up to its description and is impeccable in every aspect. The only aspect that caught me off guard was the quantity. The bag contains only 1 1/2 – 2 cups of product, which was less than I anticipated. In hindsight, I should have checked the product description for the amount in the bag.

I regret not checking the size of this bag before buying it. No wonder it was so cheap! It’s so small, I can barely fit anything in it. I’ll probably only use it for a day or two before switching back to my larger bag from Miracle Gro. Quite amusing how tiny it is!

The product is lightweight and effectively aerates the soil, making it easier for water to drain and enhancing plant growth. I was surprised by the small pack size, so I’ll need to use it sparingly until I reorder. I plan to always have this product on hand for my planting soil, particularly for succulents and cacti. It’s easy to use and doesn’t create any dust.
