I received the product in just 2 days. The product was neatly packed in a convenient zip bag that was easy to open. The vermiculite was clean and had good drainage properties. Overall, I found it to be a good value for the price.

This product is designed to retain moisture but lacks any nutritional content. It works well for root cuttings. I appreciate its darker hue in comparison to vermiculite, as it blends in better with the soil. Nonetheless, vermiculite has a higher water retention capacity than perlite.

I purchased the 20-quart bag and found it to be a great value compared to what I could get at a big box hardware store. I appreciate the ziplock closure on the bag, and it was less dusty than the previous one I purchased from Amazon. The bag worked perfectly for repotting my plumeria plant.

The texture is very fine. While I’m not sure how to evaluate its quality, I used it to protect my seedlings and they thrived without any issues of fungus or gnats. The appearance is reminiscent of fools gold, which is different from what I usually see on TV as it’s not shiny. Despite this, the product is serving its purpose well, and I am satisfied with its performance.

I combined this product with 25% vermiculite and 75% compost, and it has performed excellently.
