   I have noticed an increase in blooms on my Thanksgiving cactus, and my plants seem to be thriving better. However, I would prefer if they stopped using green dye in the product. I make sure not to place these plants on anything edible due to this. Occasionally, they may break when being inserted into the soil, so I find it helpful to water them first.

   Cher: Each medium-sized plant requires 3-4 spikes. On a positive note, these are much more convenient than dealing with liquid fertilizer measuring. They are slow-release and according to the box, do they last for several months? I just put them in a week ago, so it will probably take a few weeks to see the results.
