   I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of coco peat compressed in the block I received! It nearly filled a 6 cubic foot wheelbarrow once I unwrapped and soaked it. I’m not giving it 5 stars because it had a slight chemical smell, possibly from the plastic wrap. However, after leaving it uncovered in my wheelbarrow for a day, the smell disappeared. I will certainly purchase more in the future since I got a substantial amount from this block. 👏👏👏😊

   I cultivate a variety of vegetables and herbs year-round in my indoor basement garden using high-quality potting soil like FoxFarm Ocean Forest. To enhance the soil and improve water retention, I incorporate coco coir, which I purchase in 10 lb. blocks for cost-effectiveness. This particular 11 lb. block provides a bit more coco coir.    It does require some time to fully saturate and break apart, but it integrates well with my soil. It effectively retains moisture while also providing some drainage.

   I use this product for my campervan’s “composting” (desiccating) toilet, and it works really well. I typically purchase coir in smaller blocks, so it was a bit inconvenient having to cut off enough for a single trip. However, it rehydrated, fluffed up, and dried out nicely for storage and use on the road. Overall, it’s a quality product. In the future, I might consider paying a bit more for smaller blocks, but this block is so large that it will last me a while. Generally satisfied 🙂

   I am absolutely blown away by this product! It expanded to fill a small plastic pool effortlessly. It worked wonders in my inground beds by helping them retain moisture effectively. Additionally, it performed remarkably well in my raised garden bed, preventing it from becoming compacted. After amending my entire bed with this coco coir, my crops thrived like never before! I am so impressed that I now have this product set to be delivered monthly during the growing season.

   I have only used a small amount of this particular brand of coconut coir in my worm bin, so I can’t provide a detailed review on that aspect. However, I can say that my cats have transitioned smoothly from their clumping, wheat-based cat litter to this coconut coir. I use a minimal amount in each litter box and replace the entire content daily without the need for scooping. It’s easy to dispose of by simply dumping it onto newsprint or a cut paper bag and folding it up for disposal. The…

   The product is clean and user-friendly! I’m loving it so far! The only downside is that it limits you to only 5 per order, but I needed 30… 🤷‍♂️ However, it is a sleek product with no issues. Very impressive!
