   This houseplant mix is quite effective, but it can be a bit challenging to handle. When growing plants from seeds, bulbs, or shoots, they can establish their roots easily in this mix. However, transplanting can be trickier due to the lightweight nature of the soil, causing heavier objects to float and potentially tip over. To address this, it is recommended to pre-mix the mix with water to create a soil paste-like consistency before transplanting.

   This soil mix has significantly reduced the presence of gnats around my plants.    I had heard wonderful things about this potting soil for succulents, so I decided to test it out. I am thrilled that I did! This soil is lightweight, user-friendly, and has excellent water absorption. It lives up to its description in the listing. Overall, it’s a great value. Thank you.

   I used this mix to repot a struggling pothos plant, and it has since thrived with vigorous growth, displaying dark and healthy green leaves. I also repotted a neglected peace lily, and though it’s too soon to gauge its progress, I anticipate similar positive outcomes. The mix boasts excellent drainage and includes fertilizer, making it an ideal choice for maintaining healthy houseplants.

   I recently repotted many of my plants and I am hopeful they will thrive. The potting mix was free of gnats, mostly dry, without large debris chunks, and very easy to work with. (Sorry for the odd capitalization, it’s my phone’s doing!)

   This product is incredibly absorbent and effectively retains moisture. Thanks to it, the succulents gifted to me from church have thrived and are staying healthy with just a weekly watering. It’s working wonderfully, and I’m happy I chose this over traditional soil.
