   I purchased a few bags of this product to complement my existing substrate. Despite the claim of being cleaned, the rocks were not actually clean. While they seemed free of dirt and debris, there was a significant amount of powder or residue that required washing off. My recommendation is to dump the content in a bucket, use a hose to overflow it, and manually agitate the rocks to ensure thorough cleaning. Once the water running out of the bucket is clear, you’re good to go.

   The gravel is clean and just the right size for creating a DIY succulent soil mix or using as a ground cover. It is more affordable than succulent gravel, yet still of good quality.

   I adore the natural appearance of this gravel. It arrived very clean, requiring minimal rinsing. I used an entire bag for a 5-gallon tank.

   In bright lighting, the gravel appears more whitish than gold, but it is a very clean washed gravel with distinctively round and smooth pebbles. I opted for this gravel instead of sand in my tank where I keep a few geophagus, and they seem to enjoy it as well.

   Great gravel! I rinsed it briefly before adding it to my tank and experienced no cloudiness in the water. When I turned on the filter pump, the water remained crystal clear right from the beginning. Extremely pleased with this product.

    Following the unfortunate incident where gravel from another company led to the demise of my betta due to pH, GH, and KH imbalances in the tank, I was cautious about purchasing new products for my latest fish.     No cleaning necessary as I have previously cleaned it three times. There is no smell and the size is perfect for fish. The pebbles or rocks are of excellent quality.

    I believe purchasing this gravel is a great choice. The plants seem to grow well in it, and the color is better than others I’ve seen. The grain size is a bit larger than a BB. I bought six bags of this last year and was pleased with each one. 🐠
