I was surprised by how effective the shorter, stouter trimmer is on thicker branches, easily cutting through branches up to and possibly beyond 1.5 inches. It works like a pipe cutter. The slimmer trimmer I use for cutting veggies off the limbs. I can’t speak to its durability yet. The price shouldn’t affect its functionality.

The quality of these garden tools may not be top-notch, but considering the price, they are decent. They come with one gardening glove included, which is a nice touch. Plus, they are much more affordable compared to similar options available at hardware stores.
