   I usually plant an amaryllis bulb every Thanksgiving, and it typically blooms on Christmas Day. I decided to try growing one hydroponically and found these fantastic clay pebbles after some research. They are very low maintenance, visually appealing in glass containers, and odor-free. I believe they are reusable as well. These clay pebbles would likely work well for growing bamboo and propagating other houseplants. Overall, a great discovery!

   I recently started using leca for my semi-hydro setups and have found it to be effective. However, it is important to note that this leca is quite dusty, so it is essential to soak it overnight and rinse it multiple times before use. Although this process can be a bit tedious compared to other growing media like perlite and soil, I have not found this particular leca to be any worse than other brands.    I opted for this product over the organic alternative to save money while using it as a substrate in the rear section of my aquarium. I hope it won’t have any adverse effects on the freshwater shrimp that will soon inhabit the tank. I appreciate that it floats when dry, as it helps keep the overall weight in the aquarium to a minimum. This feature was recommended to me previously and is why I decided to use it again.

   This LECA is truly my favorite, and my plants absolutely adore it as well! I have never witnessed such rapid growth in my plants before, especially my notoriously slow-growing Hoyas.    I was pleasantly surprised by the size of this bag upon arrival. Buying leca online can be tricky due to the difficulty in determining size, but this bag is comparable in size to a smaller bag of potting soil.

   The best part about this product is its value. You get a good amount of product for the price, which is better than most other listings. I personally use these for aerating the soil in my house plants by simply adding a bottom layer in the pots.

    I received good value for what I paid, but unfortunately, the bag arrived wet inside. Now I have to meticulously inspect the contents, discard any moldy pieces, and hope that my plants will be unharmed by the remaining items.

    I utilize these pebbles in my Kratky jars. They are conveniently packaged in a resealable bag of good quality. The pebbles are sturdy and not fragile. I appreciate their slightly darker color, although it’s not a significant factor to me.
