I have been a fan of Jobe stakes for evergreens for years. I initially used them when planting eight 6 ft. pine trees in front of our property to create a privacy “fence” along the road. Applying them is a breeze – simply hammer them into the ground away from the tree root ball according to the tree size and let them do their magic. My father recommended that I fertilize our evergreens, and I have been doing so every year. The results have been remarkable! This brand has become his favorite choice over the years. The application is simple, as they come with a plastic pounding top, but you will need to have your own mallet to pound them in. I suggest waiting to place them in the ground after a recent rainfall, as the softer ground makes it easier and prevents breakage.

Make sure to follow the instructions when using this product. If you need more guidance, consider researching how close to the trunk and roots the fertilizer spike should be placed. Typically, it should be positioned around where the tree or bush canopy extends to avoid placing it directly at the roots. Use a tool to ensure the fertilizer spike is inserted deep enough into the ground.
