I found this dirt to be the best value on Amazon. I had encountered problems with store-bought potting soil due to fungus gnat eggs and other pests, but this dirt appears to be more reliable. I still prefer to sterilize it in the oven before potting, but it’s clear that this soil is superior to MiracleGro, which is often infested with pests.

I haven’t encountered any issues with bugs, and the drainage for houseplants is excellent. All of my plants are thriving beautifully.
