This easy-to-grow Begonia likes bright indirect light, regular moisture in a warm and humid environment, and no wet feet. It does well in a fairly root-bound container, so do not re-pot it too often. And do keep it out of the way of pets, who should not be allowed to nibble it. Fertilize the plant for at least part of the year (spring and summer) with a diluted liquid fertilizer.

I have doubts about the plant’s health. It appeared much larger in the advertised photos for $25! I feel I could have found a better option at a big box store.

The company did a great job wrapping and packaging the plant, but the seven-day journey seemed too stressful. Perhaps the high humidity caused four leaves to remain on the stem while twelve wilted off. Despite this, the plant boasts stunning shimmering polka-dot leaves unlike anything found in local nurseries. Thankfully, the leaves will regrow over time. If your location is far from Wisconsin, consider opting for overnight shipping for a smoother delivery process.
