   I recently received 3 fireball pups in medium size, and they arrived without any blemishes. The pups were all healthy and a vibrant deep red color. As someone who has been growing bromeliads for over two decades, I am extremely pleased with my purchase. The items were shipped promptly the day after I placed my order, so I received them much earlier than expected. Just a heads up – be ready for an early delivery!

   Received the bromeliads promptly and in good condition. They arrived healthy and undamaged, but the color is more purple/red rather than the bright reddish-pink shown in the photos. Despite this discrepancy, I still like them. However, I have experienced significant die-off with these plants, and the new growth is a basic green with a hint of purple, lacking any red color as advertised. This inconsistency in color retention is disappointing, and as a result, I can no longer recommend these…

   I received these plants during a severe weather event with temperatures below freezing all week. Despite appearing okay upon opening the box and following the care instructions by soaking them in non-chlorine room temperature water for 30 minutes, they unfortunately did not survive. I have been caring for them like my other air plants, which are thriving, but I believe the extremely cold temperatures during shipment and delivery were too much for these plants to handle.

   I purchased these bromeliads for my dart frog vivarium and I am pleasantly impressed with their quality. Both plants arrived in excellent condition, with vibrant colors and no visible damage from shipping. Although one of them had a slightly shorter rootstock, it did not affect their overall performance. The plants are now acclimating well in my enclosure and starting to develop roots.
