   The product works effectively, but I regret not choosing the larger size for one of the two bags. Larger pebbles would have been more suitable for the bigger pots with larger holes, providing better aeration for certain plants. In general, it is a handy item.

   I purchased these to help fill the bottoms of my plant pots in order to reduce the amount of soil needed and improve aeration. They work perfectly for this purpose, and I appreciate the extra benefit of them being made from recycled materials.

   I recently started gardening to help with my MS and being homebound, and I’ve found it to be very therapeutic.    I have a patio vegetable garden and I purchased this product last year. I really appreciate that it has improved drainage and makes the pots easier to move around due to its lightweight nature. Initially, I assumed it was safe for growing vegetables given the suggestive packaging and mention of Hydroponics.
