These bricks are sturdy and break apart easily for seeding. The price is unbeatable. They are slightly more hydrophobic than I prefer, but not to the point where it causes any issues. I will definitely repurchase once I finish using these.

I purchased these coco bars to help with my seed starting process. I found them to be made of high-quality materials that break down easily. I appreciate that they contain no additives. Mixing them with potting soil creates a better balance for plants and prevents soil from becoming too compact. Overall, it’s a good product, although slightly on the pricey side.

I found this coco coir to be a cost-effective alternative to seed starting mix. The package contained 10 compressed bricks that were surprisingly lightweight. I simply broke up one brick, added water, and it expanded significantly. It works wonderfully for starting seeds. I also discovered that it’s a perfect complement to my soil when mixed with perlite, providing moisture and good drainage for my plants.

This product offers a very innovative idea and is much more convenient to transport than a bag of soil. Rehydrating the bricks with hot water is a simple process, requiring only a small hoe to break up the brick as it becomes moist. However, the price does not seem to match the amount of potting material produced. Despite this, the plants appear to be thriving.

These coco coir blocks are compressed and offer a sustainable way to utilize a byproduct of coconut processing. They help aerate dense soil and retain water effectively, similar to peat moss. Unlike peat, which is a finite resource, coco coir is a more eco-friendly choice. The coir is heated to ensure it is free from contaminants, and the blocks rehydrate rapidly for use.

After trying out this coir product instead of peat moss in my seed starter and planter soil blends, I discovered that it blends seamlessly with potting soil, perlite, and fertilizers. The result is a lightweight and well-aerated potting mix that performs admirably. Breaking down the compressed brick of coir is a simple process akin to making a mud pie. By adding 5-6 cups of warm water and breaking it apart manually, you can achieve the desired texture. It can get messy, so it’s best to do…

I purchased these coco bricks from the FunFanso store to begin germinating my seeds, as seed starting soil can be quite pricey. The pack of ten coco bricks offers great value for money. These bricks expand quickly and efficiently in water, particularly when using warm water. While they have minimal nutrients, I find they work well when mixed with seed starting soil. Overall, I am satisfied with these coco bricks and would certainly suggest them to a friend!
